About the team:
Trading Management enables Robinhood Operations team and services to gain real time insights on order entries, executions, updates and anomalies, as well as perform critical order management operations with provided guardrails. We aim to provide the best-in-class trading ops experience with reliable, performant and innovative functions. The team is also responsible for regulatory reporting of Equities and Options trades, as an indispensable part of the trading lifecycle.
We are looking for an experienced web engineer to join our team and take on the exciting and challenging new features of OEMS (Order and Execution Management System), as one of the most impactful projects for improving operational efficiency, risk reduction and engineering quality.
What you’ll do day-to-day:
- Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS
- Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team
- Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company
- Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products
- Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers
About you:
- 3+ years of professional experience with modern Web technologies and frameworks
- You’re an expert at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments
- You have an incredible design intuition coupled with an obsession for the customer and their experience
- You’re an advocate of high standards for code quality and code review processes
- You have a growth mindset coupled with a fascination for technology at scale
- Nice to have: experience working on data centric visualization and tooling.
