Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), Core Hours: 8 AM - 2 PM PT
Our client is a pioneering web creation platform designed for creative professionals to craft unique interactive experiences, no coding required. They are seeking a creative and adaptable Web Designer to join their marketing team and help create cool, interactive webpages within their platform.
Key Responsibilities:
Web Page Design: Work within brand guidelines to design at least one page a week that the marketing team can use to promote the platform to target audiences (creative professionals, designers, marketers, agencies, etc.).
Platform Mastery: Quickly acquire an understanding of the proprietary platform’s features, functionalities, and design capabilities.
Feature Showcasing: Showcase new features in webpages with a focus on interactivity and unique “only-in-Hatch” functionality.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the marketing team to gather requirements and translate them into visually appealing interactive web pages in the platform.
Testing and Documentation: Conduct testing of web pages to identify any issues related to functionality, compatibility, and performance and document them for the engineering team.
Trend Awareness: Stay updated on the latest web design trends, tools, and technologies to keep designs modern and effective.
What Success Looks Like:
Innovative Designs: Deliver creative and interactive web pages that effectively showcase the platform’s capabilities.
Seamless Collaboration: Work efficiently with the marketing team to understand and fulfill design requirements.
Issue Identification: Proactively identify and document any functionality, compatibility, or performance issues for the engineering team.
Trend Integration: Keep designs up-to-date with the latest web design trends and technologies.
Qualifications:
Visual Portfolio: A strong visual portfolio showcasing a variety of web design projects.
Graphic Design Tools: Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Technical Skills: Code knowledge is helpful but not required (the platform is a no-code platform).
Communication: Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a remote team environment.
Adaptability: Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
