One of our clients, Video Buddy, is looking for a Video Editor.
Job Description
- Own video content editing for the different social media platforms, mostly YouTube and Instagram, and other marketing channels
- Make necessary video revisions in order to ensure on-time launch of all videos
- Create motion graphics, supers, and other required elements to create compelling videos
- Stay updated on US social media trends to ensure relevance of content with target audience
- Collaborate with the rest of the marketing team to produce highly engaging and impactful content
- Manage timelines and priorities in accordance with marketing plans
- Be a gatekeeper of our brand
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Studies, Advertising Arts, or any course relevant to the field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience in creative fields
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere and After Effects
- Bonus: Adobe Audition and other related software to videography and video editing
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom
- Intermediate to proficient experience in sound editing and enhancement
- Ability to work independently on multiple projects
- Device should be compatible for working with high power software (preferably a desktop computer) and big video files

Additional Details
- The job is based in the Philippines
- This is a salaried role, not an hourly role. However, to make sure we can coordinate across time zones we ask that everyone in this role be available for meetings/emails/Hangouts etc. at least from approximately ~9:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST i.e from Monday to Friday
