About the Job
- Experience Design: Craft end-to-end user experiences for our home construction platform, focusing on ease of use, efficiency, and impactful interactions.
- User-Centered Research: Engage with homebuilders, buyers, and industry partners to refine and simplify the design, sale, and build processes, anchoring your strategies in real user needs and behaviors.
- Prototyping and Visualization: Develop flows, prototypes, and visuals (low to mid-fidelity) to bring your ideas to life, facilitating clear understanding and stakeholder buy-in.
- Platform Strategy Influence: Play a critical role in shaping the strategic direction of the Higharc platform, ensuring design choices align with our vision and user needs.
- Design Execution: Implement design strategies that effectively integrate words, visual representations, physical space, time, and behavior to create seamless user interactions.
About You
- You’re passionate about merging design with user experience, especially within the realms of construction, home design, or similar fields.
- Your background includes 5-10 years of hands-on experience in web-based interaction design, with a portfolio to prove it.
- You’re comfortable navigating complex systems, transforming them into user-friendly solutions.
- You possess strong empathy for customers, translating technical topics into accessible language for diverse audiences.
- Your understanding of interaction design’s multidimensional nature – including aesthetics, motion, sound, and space – informs your every project.
- Experience with tools like HubSpot, and skills in motion graphics or animation, are pluses but not deal-breakers.
