About the role:
As a Technical Services Specialist at PAR Technology Corporation, you will be responsible for working within a collaborative team atmosphere to provide solutions to existing clients who are faced with unexpected challenges that arise while working through our software, Data Central.
Data Central is a restaurant management back-office solution that provides the critical functionality operators need to run a successful and profitable restaurant. You will be responsible for providing administrative support, managing post-implementation projects, and maintaining meticulous attention to detail to ensure our clients are getting the most out of their back-office solution, Data Central. The ideal applicant will have a restaurant management background and working knowledge of not only a POS and/or back-office program, working understanding of Cost of Goods and Scheduling. Data Central is a restaurant management solution that provides functionality around cost of goods, scheduling, payroll, reporting, and many other operational aspects of business pertaining to the restaurant industry.

What you'll do:
- Become an expert on the value of Data Central so that you can provide credible guidance on how best to apply the tools to their specific operational processes and business challenges.
- Design and test proposed solutions while completing configuration with varying
degrees of complexity - Assist with scheduling meetings, updating documentation, and facilitating communication between internal teams and clients.
- Coordinate and present business reviews to tier 2 and 3 clients.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between our company and clients, managing communication channels and overseeing project timelines.
- Actively engage clients to understand their needs and address any concerns or inquiries promptly.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Effectively deliver training to end-users with all levels of technical and non-technical
knowledge - Act as an internal escalation path for Level 1 and 2 Support
- Work in a multi-channel communication environment of phone, emails, and video
conferencing

What we look for:
- 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1 – 2 years’ experience in the technology industry preferred
- Previous experience in the Restaurant industry in a management role preferred
- Track record of success in Professional Services

The base salary range for this position is $56,000 to $85,000 USD per year commensurate with work location, experience, skills, certifications, education, and prior accomplishments.
The position may be eligible for additional compensation, including a bonus, commission and/or equity, as applicable.
