What’s the opportunity?

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Specialist to join our finance team. This role is crucial for
supporting tax compliance across multiple European jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to both
indirect (VAT) and direct tax regulations. The Tax Specialist will independently manage tax
compliance and contribute to strategic tax initiatives in collaboration with the Tax Lead.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring full compliance with tax regulations, working
closely with external advisors, and staying up to date with the latest changes in European tax
legislation. This position also provides the opportunity to help develop tax policies and streamline
processes to enhance efficiency across our entities.

What’s the opportunity?

compliance and contribute to strategic tax initiatives in collaboration with the Tax Lead.

closely with external advisors, and staying up to date with the latest changes in European tax
legislation. This position also provides the opportunity to help develop tax policies and streamline
processes to enhance efficiency across our entities.

What will I be doing?

  • Prepare and manage tax filings for our European entities, ensuring full compliance with local VAT and direct tax regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Participate in and provide insights for strategic tax initiatives, collaborating with the Tax Lead to assess risks and identify opportunities for tax optimization.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed tax reports for both internal stakeholders and auditors.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate, well-structured, and timely.
  • Maintain and refine internal controls related to tax processes, ensuring they align with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for external tax advisors, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Ensure that any changes in tax laws or requirements are communicated effectively to the team and implemented properly.

  • What skills do I need?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing cross-border tax compliance in a multinational environment.
  • Strong expertise in European VAT and direct taxes, with a track record of contributing to tax strategy and process improvements
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to research and interpret tax regulations as needed.
  • Familiarity with tax processes and compliance requirements, with the ability to stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and apply them effectively
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
  • Advanced/Fluent English.
  • Portuguese is a plus.
