This role is responsible for designing, executing and monitoring talent management initiatives and culture at Five9. The Talent Management Manager works with the Director of Talent Management and internal teams to identify needs, design solutions and execute on key people processes, performance management and employee engagement programs. The qualified candidate brings demonstrated experience executing talent management processes across the organization. The Talent Management Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping the organization's culture, ensuring employee satisfaction, and driving overall performance excellence.
What you'll do:
Employee Engagement
- Develop and implement strategies to foster a positive and engaging work environment
- Design and execute employee engagement programs, surveys, and initiatives
- Collaborate with various departments to create a culture that values employee well-being and satisfaction
- Support the internal communications efforts in communicating the results to key stakeholders
- Create and help manage ongoing company-wide action plans
- Partner cross-functionally to integrate engagement strategies as part of the people life cycle
Performance Management
- Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance conversations (Self-Reflections), and ongoing feedback
- Ensure alignment between individual goals and organizational objectives
- Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement and professional development
Strategic Initiatives and Program Management
- Support Five9 through periods of change through the implementation of strategic initiatives that support Five9 and HR OKRs
- Partner closely with HR Leadership to help employees adapt to new people team initiatives and foster a culture of engagement
- Provide subject-matter-expertise and assist in the execution of People Team communications, as needed, based on strategic priorities and projects
Talent Management Systems & Measurement
- Utilize data and analytics to assess employee engagement and performance metrics
- Measures and tracks key talent management metrics related to performance and engagement
- Prepare and present reports to leadership on talent management initiatives and outcomes
- Manages the strategy and design of the Culture Amp system to ensure effective performance and engagement programs and initiatives
- Drive continuous improvement of organization's talent management practices, systems, process and tools
- Support the import of Employee Engagement data into DOMO dashboard
Required qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in Business, Human Resources or related discipline and/or equivalent work
experience - 8+ years of talent management experience in a business setting in at least one talent management area of discipline (e.g. performance management, employee engagement, or learning and development)
- Experienced in project management, organizational and analytics skills to manage multiple projects, processes and initiatives simultaneously
- Skilled at collaborating across the organization with key stakeholders
- Flexible and effectively deals with high levels of change and ambiguity
- Previous experience implementing employee engagement strategies, including integration of culture and enhancing employee experience at a complex organization
- Excellent communications and presentation skills, including both verbal and written
communications - A global mindset, positive attitude
This role is fully remote for candidates who reside at least 50 miles away from our San Francisco or San Ramon office locations. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Francisco or San Ramon locations, this role will be Hybrid.
