Description
The IT Systems Administrator will play a key role in the implementation, management, support, and maintenance of Verily’s HR internal systems and processes within the application engineering team. The successful candidate will be intellectually curious to learn new technologies and applications. He/She should be a self-starter with a good understanding of multiple Workday HCM modules and also has a general understanding of other corporate SaaS platforms.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and translate business requirements into technical design documents for Verily’s SaaS platforms including Workday and other Corporate systems.
- Develop functional specification documents and implement system configurations, workflows, and reports to optimize process efficiency and data accuracy.
- Develop and execute test plans for new system features and updates. Perform regression testing, data & integration validation, downstream impact analysis and assurance of overall system performance/stability.
- Post Implementation, provide ongoing support and training to users. Identify and assess potential system improvements through gap analysis and user feedback. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness of our IT systems.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation of system configurations, processes, training and procedures. Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, releases and technologies for Verily’s IT SaaS platforms.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of IT system administration, configuration or deployment experience in Workday.
- Understanding of project management fundamentals, end to end functional HR business processes and led testing programs.
- Self-starter, self-motivated, able to work independently, prioritize effectively, and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision.
- Willing to learn and manage IT SaaS applications other than Workday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exposure to additional SaaS systems (QMS & PLM,Cornerstone, Jira, etc.)
- Workday Certification in Talent & Performance and/or good understanding of Workday Journey, Case Management, Vndly and Peakon.
- Experience with Kainos testing tool.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $109,000 - $155,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
