The ideal Enterprise Account Executive will be an experienced salesperson who is comfortable generating sales leads with new clients and maintaining relationships with a few strategic customers. The candidate will be able to understand prospective clients' needs, ask good questions to gain understanding, and drive the process. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have a positive track record of exceeding outlined goals. This person must have experience selling SaaS, with a preference in the Public Sector (counties, cities or towns a plus).
Preference will be given to candidates that have worked with Land and Vital Records software, or have sold to County Clerks, Recorders, or Register offices. The ideal candidate will have talent in sales and experience in customer service. We expect you to be a reliable professional able to achieve a balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.
The goal is to find opportunities and turn them into long-term profitable relationships based on trust and mutual satisfaction, while understanding the urgency and need to close deals.
Responsibilities
- Ideally looking for someone already located in the Rust Belt (Ohio, Pennsylvania, or Indiana) area, working remotely in the territory. Build and maintain relationships with clients
- Set and exceed sales quotas
- Prospect clients and understand their needs
- Introduce products/service to prospective clients/customers
- Keeping in contact with clients
- Accurate forecasting and deal qualification
- Negotiating agreements
- Travel in territory (25-50%)
Qualifications
- 6+ years' experience as an Enterprise Account Executive
- Strong communication skills and understanding of the sales process
- Demonstrated ability to set goals and achieve them
- Having knowledge of principles of marketing and research
- Excellent listening skills (especially with clients)
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Hunter mentality to find new business and maintain it
- Possessing good business acumen
- Past/present experience selling SasS based solutions (state, local, county or city selling experience a plus)
- Experience working with RFPs and government contracts
- Excellent sales hygiene and follow up
- Coachable and open to constructive feedback
- BA/BS preferred
