The T&S Experience team owns all customer facing components of the Trust & Safety Platform. This includes, login, signup, authentication, risk and fraud detection / mitigation. You'll work at all layers of the stack, from Infrastructure to the Frontend to enable the business. Finally, as the Staff Engineer for this team, you'll represent our concerns across the business and likewise represent the business concerns to the rest of the team.
What You'll Do:
- Implement business critical features enabling new user experiences across the entire stack (mobile, web, backend).
- Drive major engineering initiatives with wide impact across many teams.
- Participate in engineering technical leadership discussions, guiding the future for the team and organizations you are a part of.
- Prototype PoCs and shape long term roadmap.
- Assist with planning cycles, estimating work and setting milestones
What We Look For:
- 7+ YOE in backend product development
- 2+ YOE in frontend product development
- Experience designing new products in legacy systems
- Experience working in fraud fighting products
- Experience in building new internal products to increase productivity
Pay Grade - CAN31
Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.
CAN base pay range per year:
Min: $144,100
Mid: $180,100
Max: $216,200
