About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Research, implement, and deploy new ASR methods to improve transcription accuracy in our production system

Collaboratively support our existing production system until fully migrated to the new architecture

Longer term, work on other high-priority projects to improve the performance and scalability of our products

Implement best software development practices, including code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration

Participate in architecture design and technical discussions to drive innovation and improve product performance

Requirements:

8+ years coding in Python

Experience working with ASR Speech recognition systems

5+ years of experience in cloud services (e.g. serverless, SQL/noSQL databases, Kinesis, SQS, ELK, Kubernetes, Lambda, Cloud Functions)

Experience with Microservices and containerized deployment using Docker and Kubernetes

Strong verbal and written communication with developers and business leaders

Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD)

Significant experience with the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Familiarity with Amazon Web Service and/or Google Cloud Platform

BS or MS in Computer Science or Engineering degree
