The SandboxAQ team is seeking a software engineer with a strong focus on building dynamic tracing capabilities for JavaScript, as well as support for Golang and Python applications. This role is pivotal in advancing our cybersecurity systems to the next generation. The successful candidate will not only work on implementing dynamic tracing across these key languages but will also contribute significantly to the enhancement and maintenance of our existing backend infrastructure.
What You'll Do:
- Lead the development of dynamic tracing for JavaScript applications, ensuring high performance and scalability, with additional contributions in similar capabilities for Golang and Python.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of our backend services, focusing on reliability, performance, and security.
- Analyze and resolve complex performance issues, improving the efficiency of our cybersecurity solutions.
- Engage in code design and review sessions, promoting best practices in software development within the team.
- Facilitate the adoption of robust software development practices, enhancing the quality and security of our applications.
- Interact with clients to understand their needs, providing support on technical issues and gathering feedback for new features.
- Mentor and support other developers, aiding in their professional growth and fostering a collaborative team environment.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in Javascript (node.js) and Typescript
- Strong coding skills in Python and Go
- Experienced in building, deploying, and maintaining scalable web applications, with a preference for those knowledgeable in PostgreSQL and GraphQL.
- Eager to learn about cryptography and its application in the industry, with a motivation to contribute to innovative cybersecurity solutions.
- Skilled in translating complex business requirements into efficient technical solutions.
- Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, with fluency in English.
- Preference to those able to commit to working Eastern Timezone (US) or Central European Timezone hours.

- Platform: OCaml, Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL)
- Clients (tracers, scanners, and fuzzers): OCaml, Java, C++
- Tooling: GitHub, Bazel, Docker, Google Cloud, AWS, with additional tools to support dynamic tracing development.
- Best practices: Code reviews, linters, tests, CI/CD, with a strong emphasis on secure coding practices and dynamic tracing methodologies.
