Your Role

We’re looking for a Sr. Supplier Quality Engineer to join our evolving Hardware Operations team at Hudl. In this role, you’ll collaborate with Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain on all activities necessary to effectively manage product and component quality with our suppliers. You’ll primarily be responsible for working with suppliers to continuously improve performance, implement process controls, drive resolution of quality issues, and develop quality assurance plans.

We’re considering candidates willing to travel to our U.S.-based contract manufacturing site or be willing to relocate. We're open to remote candidates in the following locations: Kansas City, Texas, Chicago, Boston, and Lexington.

Must-Haves

  • Technical experience. You’re knowledgeable on both electrical and electro-mechanical assemblies,  preferably in the consumer electronics space.
  • Quality engineering acumen. You have demonstrated knowledge in supplier qualification and selection, including the use of audit templates, process reviews and other quality tools (e.g., 8D, SCAR, NCMR, PFMEA, etc.).
  • A problem solver. You can work cross-functionally to drive root cause analysis and corrective actions on quality problems that range from simple to complex.
  • Communication skills. You have proven experience working up, down and across the organization, and externally, to drive quality improvements.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Sport technology knowledge. If you have experience with cameras or human wearable devices, that’s a plus.
  • Adaptability. You can quickly familiarize yourself with our tech stack, including tools like Arena PLM, Jira and Google Suite products.
  • Ready to travel. You’re willing to travel on short notice to support quality issues.

Our Role

  • Champion work-life harmony. We’ll give you the flexibility you need in your work life (e.g., flexible vacation time, company-wide holidays and timeout (meeting-free) days, remote work options and more) so you can enjoy your personal life too.
  • Guarantee autonomy. We have an open, honest culture and we trust our people from day one. Your team will support you, but you’ll own your work and have the agency to try new ideas.
  • Encourage career growth. We’re lifelong learners who encourage professional development. We’ll give you tons of resources and opportunities to keep growing.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But whether you’re at the office or working remotely, we’ll provide you the tech stack and hardware to do your best work.
  • Support your mental and physical health. We care about our employees’ wellbeing. Our Employee Assistance Program, employee resource groups and fitness partner Peerfit have you covered.
  • Cover your medical insurance. We have multiple plans to pick from to ensure you’ll have the coverage you (and your dependents) want, including vision, dental, fertility healthcare and family forming benefits.
  • Contribute to your 401(K). Yep, that’s free money. We’ll match up to 4% of your own contribution.
