Sr. Product Manager- Digital Platform & Infastructure

About This Role

iRhythm is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Digital Platform and Infrastructure for the Zio software platform.  In this role, you will be the strategic business leader owning the roadmap and direction of our platform agile team focusing on system integrations, data backend, and device intake software. This role will be key to our internationalization, partnership integration, and adjacent market initiatives.  You will be leading an agile team and working closely with engineering, technical project management, and software QA to build products that serve as the backbone of our end-to-end Zio system. Aside from the core development team, you will also collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across the company to gather VOC, define product strategy, and launch new products and features.

Note: We are unable to provide any sort of sponsorship for this role. Will work remote from a US based home office.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Define strategy and roadmap for platform software components, communicating to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Lead platform agile team as business owner in day-to-day execution of roadmap, with strong focus delivering the right software features in a timely manner
  • Collect stakeholder feedback (inclusive of operational teams and engineering teams) to understand unmet needs to support business scalability and business objectives
  • Work with engineering, technical project management, and software QA to deliver high quality features and platform architecture through iteration.
  • Collaborate with fellow software product managers to coordinate and strategize features that require dependencies between agile teams.
  • Define, analyze, and communicate analytics data and KPIs to monitor product performance and outcomes.
  • Ensure organizational readiness for all product updates and enhancements.
  • Willing to travel up to 20%.

About you:

You’re seen as a leader, with an exceptional ability to get things done while bringing people along for the journey. You have enough technical expertise to be a thought partner to engineering, but you’re also able to explain and simplify technical concepts to non-technical audiences. You know how to balance moving forward with assessing risk of the unknown. Balancing multiple initiatives and stakeholder requests is your forte, and you are able to communicate your prioritization rationale so the rest of the team is aligned. You are respected and can take charge, but everyone feels comfortable challenging you or coming to you with new ideas.

Desired Qualifications

  • 7+ years product management experience for digital software applications.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Deep knowledge of product management best practices and software delivery
  • Expertise with system architecture & evolution, data modeling/backend data flow strategy and mapping
  • Experience with driving analytics and business intelligence to inform product strategy.
  • Experience working in scrum team as engineer or product manager.
  • Strong system analysis, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative; results oriented; strong sense of urgency.
  • BA/BS in science or technical field. Advanced degree or MBA desired.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a software technical role (e.g. engineering), particularly with data modeling and Java/object-oriented programming in the context of system integrations
  • Experience with requirements management applications (Jama, DOORS,…) and design control applications (MasterControl)
  • Experience with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, etc.), road mapping tools (Aha!) and data analytics tools (Tableau, Pendo, GA, SQL)
