POSITION SUMARY
We are seeking a Sr. People Operations Representative to join our HRIS team. You will be a critical team member helping execute operational tasks in support of the full employee life cycle (pre-boarding to post termination).
This role will serve as a primary point of contact for selected candidates and will help us deliver an exceptional experience to candidates and recruiters alike. You will liaise with recruiters, candidates, and the labor relations team, making sure everyone is informed and on the same page.
This position requires an individual who has superior organizational and prioritization skills; always understands the necessity for confidentiality and professionalism; has experience working in fast-paced environments and is able to consistently deliver in a high-volume environment while remaining organized and calm under pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Some of the key responsibilities for the role are:
•Enter new Hires and perform activities for on-boarding (manage offers, request candidate paperwork, socio-economic studies, background checks, hires in Workday
•Update and maintain tracker providing updated status to recruiters/labor relations
•Provide timely and professional communication to candidates, recruiters on process next steps
•Employee files/paperwork (maintain physical employee files, scan, and maintain electronic copies)
•Ensure new hire and termination paperwork is processed and verified in a timely manner to meet Company guidelines for payment
•Process employee termination and conduct off-boarding activities
•Office support (responding to employee questions, directing them to the appropriate party)
•Maintains and distributes policy and procedure manuals and other communications, as appropriate for new hire on boarding.
•Works on sensitive issues with discretion and a commitment to confidentiality
•Other activities and projects as requested to support the PX Ops and Technology team
•Input process and update HR information and data changes into the HRIS system including but not limited to new hires, transfers, promotions, benefits enrollments and changes, salary adjustments and terminations
•Review data from completed forms or other documents for accuracy and completeness prior to data entry
•Review and audit completed data entry assignments for accuracy and integrity – Provide necessary support to employee questions
•Provide administrative support for the HR department as needed
•Responsible for writing, generating, and maintaining standard and custom reports used by the organization
•Completes phone or fax employment verifications for current and past employees
•Prepares employment verification letters for employees as needed
•Audit processes and employee files and documentation is up to date
•Frequently review filling procedures and makes recommendations regarding process improvements to reduce and/or improve the flow of paperwork in the department
REQUIREMENTS
•Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2-3 years of work experience of human resources, staffing or related areas
•Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
•Experience with Workday is a plus
•Experience in a global corporate organization is a plus
•Superior organization and attention to detail are critical skills for this role
