Sr Lifecycle Marketing Associate

ABOUT THIS ROLE:

As a key member on the Cars.com Consumer Lifecycle Marketing team you will be part of a high-performing team building personalized lifecycle campaigns to support our Consumer Growth goals. In partnership with the team, you will be responsible for prioritizing program updates, launching new email campaigns and working cross-functionally with Design, Product and Engineering teams as required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build custom and responsive email templates for consumer marketing initiatives
  • Primarily responsible for email campaign setup, audit and launch. This role will actively work on creating new or editing existing templates and will partner with our internal design team and external agency to optimize and build email templates
  • Effectively collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Design, Data and Engineering to build best in class lifecycle campaigns
  • Setup periodic A/B tests on the email platform to validate program optimization hypotheses. Roll out the winning creative/treatment accordingly. 
  • Report on campaign performance to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Monitor contact list health and deliverability numbers - ensure list hygiene by periodically going in and updating our segmentation rules. Collaborate with deliverability vendor to proactively monitor our sender reputation

 

ABOUT YOU:  

  • Well versed in CSS, HTML coding, ability to build dynamic, responsive templates and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in marketing automation platforms (like Iterable, Salesforce, Oracle)
  • Understanding of the Email & Push best practices and overall industry landscape
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven mindset for decision making. Report on campaign performance to provide insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Keen eye for details. This role will be responsible for sending campaigns to high volume audience so attention to detail is important
  • 2+ Years of relevant experience

 

Preferred: 

  • Degree in marketing, business communications or a related field of equivalent experience
  • Ability to problem solve and think strategically to increase program efficiency
  • Strong communication skills to work seamlessly with both technical and non-technical audiences and the ability to summarize analytical results or technical issues to key stakeholders.
