Vimeo is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. This role is centered around forecasting and budgeting all operating expenses and is highly visible within the organization; it involves frequent communication with budget owners (including executives) and various domestic and international accounting teams.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is eager to make an impact, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Own departmental expense spreadsheets by actualizing historical data and partnering with budget owners to maintain up-to-date expense forecasts
- Assist with the development, preparation, and presentation of the annual budget
- Partner with Accounting teams to develop procedures supporting accurate department-, vendor-, and product-level expense reporting
- Assist with creating financial presentations for board meetings, earnings releases, and other investor presentations
- In conjunction with Financial Systems and BI teams, help drive automation, process improvement and efficiency through planning system enhancements, BI tools, and operational improvements
- Prepare ad hoc analyses to assist executive decision-making and drive cost efficiencies across the business
Skills and knowledge you should possess:
- BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or comparable discipline
- 1-4 years of finance-related work experience
- Superior analytical and modeling skills; ability to summarize detailed analyses/data into executive-level presentation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills. Executive presence required
- Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills required; experience with Oracle and HFM a plus
- Working knowledge of GAAP accounting and financial principles
- Preference for candidates in the NYC-metro area
Targeted Base Salary Range: $71,000.00 to $99,000.00
The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
