We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Director of Field Marketing to lead channel, field, ABM, demand gen and “brand gen” programs in the UK and Ireland to drive net new and expansion pipeline growth. This role is crucial in aligning marketing programs with GTM objectives in the field, leveraging marketing Global Centers of Excellence (GCoEs) to accelerate Five9’s market-leading ARR growth. The ideal candidate must be based in the UK and possess a combination of leadership, strategic thinking, broad hands-on marketing skills, and a proven track record in leading marketing or demand gen for B2B software/SaaS companies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Field Marketing: Align UK/I regional marketing strategy with needs and priorities of the entire field representing all routes to market, particularly International, UK/I, and Channel sales leadership.
- ABM: Work with ABM team to align ABM programs with the objectives of each Sales functional group (Strategic, Enterprise, Mid-Market, etc), coordinating and prioritizing resources as needed.
- Brand Gen: Design and execute full-funnel “brand gen” campaigns from pre- to post-execution, for all aspects from campaign design to execution to post-execution SDR outreach, nurture tracks, and ROI analysis.
- Event Marketing: Collaborate with sales and partners to organize field/regional events that drive net new and expansion pipeline and ACV.
- Paid Media: Work with paid search and social teams to align UK/I campaigns to GTM objectives and field marketing programs and campaigns.
- Email Marketing: Work with email marketing resource to maintain, build, and optimize email in support of field marketing campaigns, including lead nurture programs, ABM outreach sequences, sales or partner promotions and incentives, competitive displacements, etc.
- Website: Collaborate with website team on updates to support field marketing and brand gen campaigns.
- Leadership: Inspire and mentor peers and direct reports, fostering a data-driven culture and GTM synergies with world-class alignment between the field and marketing teams.
- Vendor and Agency Management: Manage 3rd-party vendors and agencies by holding them accountable for outstanding performance, attention to detail, and value for Five9.
- Budget Management: Work with Demand Gen and Marketing Operations leaders to manage detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual budgeting and forecasting, as part of an integrated Demand Gen marketing budget and plan.
- Performance Reporting and Analytics: Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Performance Marketing to build instrumentation for measuring field marketing results, including strategic expansions and experiments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, preferably with a focus on demand generation. Experience as a demand gen and/or marketing leader for 7+ years.
- Proven track record of successfully growing pipeline coverage while maintaining acceptable acquisition costs and managing multimillion-dollar budgets.
- Strong leadership skills with experience of managing virtual teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure with measurable performance metrics while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail, a growth mindset, and a data-driven approach.
