As a Senior Ads Solution Manager within the Commercial Excellence team, you will take a lead role in driving advertiser value, enhancing brand visibility and ultimately contributing to Instacart’s growth and success.
About the Role
As an Ads Solution Manager, you will play a central role in coordinating the commercialization of our Retail Powered Media solutions. This role will enhance our product solutions for brands to connect with Instacart consumers in channels off of Instacart (such as search, social, display and CTV) & effectively understand the impact through closed loop measurement. You will partner deeply with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Enablement) to coordinate go-to-market processes for our off platform product offerings, ensure all stakeholders are aligned and project milestones are met to ensure operational excellence. You’ll use your understanding of the retail media & programmatic ecosystem to ensure that we have the necessary tools, processes and resources to scale the business. You’ll work closely with the RPM (Data) sales team to help collect feedback and build strategies that help inform enablement, marketing, data science, legal, privacy and product in building solutions that are meeting clients’ advertising goals.

The Commercial Excellence team has a multifaceted role within Instacart. As part of this team, this individual will report directly to the VP of Commercial Excellence with a dotted line to the Director of RPM. This role has the opportunity to influence many of the key growth drivers for the company.
About the Job
- Set product adoption and revenue goals for (1) RPM & (2) Clean Room solutions in partnership with RPM Sales, Product, Finance, and Yield
- Drive prioritization and accountability for solution work streams that involve cross-functional teams.
- Leverage your deep understanding of programmatic technology and retail media to design & implement go to market processes in partnership with RPM Sales, Product, Marketing, Enablement, Legal, and Privacy teams to scale RPM and drive operational efficiencies.
- Provide solution feedback to Marketing and Product Managers to help shape the product roadmap
- Influence Marketing to shape product positioning in the market to help sellers overcome objections
- Work closely with internal teams including RPM sales, marketing, product and data science to align on goals and strategies & ensure milestones are met.
- Help prioritize legal, accounting, account management, marketing & partnership resources based on product and sales strategies
About You
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Six to eight years of applicable experience
- At least one year of exposure to Retail Media
- Strong technical knowledge of programmatic advertising (including DSP’s, SSP’s, DMP’s and ad exchanges)
- Polished communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong influencing skills both internally and externally at the senior director level.
- Aptitude with sales technology tools like Tableau, Mode, Salesforce, Jira, and Confluence
- A capacity to describe reporting and dashboarding requirements to peers in Media Analytics without SQL experience

- A creative problem solver who can adapt and thrive in an ambiguous environment
- Ability to work and drive solutions within a cross-functional team structure
- Familiarity with advertising technology and marketing ecosystems, including digital, data, cleanroom, CTV and addressable, linear and search platforms.
- Experience working with advertising sales teams / roles
- Project management experience
