Job Description
- Utilize the Engineering Change Management system
- Maintain and update the Master Parts List (MPL) in the mainframe system
- Communicate status and issues regarding deliverables in an accurate and timely manner
- Write and ensure accuracy of engineering work orders
- Analyze and interpret highly complex engineering information
- Perform root cause analysis
- Make part changes and process said changes for the DREs
- Understand the usage and location of the part on the vehicle [interior, body exterior, chassis (tires, brakes, shocks), or electrical]
- Work on several parts, changing focus as needed
Qualifications
- Applicant required to work ON SITE in Warren, MI Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Monday and Friday applicant can work remotely.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field preferred)
- A minimum of 2+ years of industry experience outside of internships and Co-Ops
- Demonstrated abilities in Microsoft Office software, especially Excel
- Coding (C4X)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize work and react appropriately to urgent requests
- Ability to build strong relationships with Engineering and Program Teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
