About The Role
The Sensing Solutions Architect (“SA”) is a customer facing role and is part of the Solution Delivery team. The SA will bridge product development, pre-sales, and delivery. They are responsible for facilitating pre-sales demonstrations, prototyping, proofs of concept and supporting client facing presentations during the entire sales cycle. The SA, along with other roles, will support solution delivery and participate in field-engineering activities. The SA may need, from time to time, to go onsite to liaise with customers.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in technical programs, specifically complete hardware and software product integration. Experience with product development is a plus.
- 10+ years of Technical Sales experience with aviation industry OEM sales.
- Experience with enterprise cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP), Python or C++, Bash, and familiarity with CLIs.
- Use of project management and documentation software such as Jira or Asana and Confluence or Coda.
- Familiarity with data science and machine learning techniques and applications to signal processing.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills and ability to lead effectively across organizations.
- Define customer requirements and definitions - translating technical concepts for proposals and solution briefs.
- Work with sales and other stakeholders, including partners to jointly define solutions. This includes participating in pre-sales on-site visits, understanding customer security requirements and mapping SBT solutions to customer requirements.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
- Expected travel is 20-30%.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS degree or equivalent experience.
- Technical experience with RTOS, debugging techniques of distributed sensor systems, and/or certifying systems in highly regulated environments.
- First-hand implementation or operations experience with aerospace and/or maritime organizations, especially with regards to sensing or PNT systems.
- Previous sales experience and demonstrated ability to architect solutions to close.
- Experience with government acquisition processes.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
