Solutions Architect

US / CANADA - REMOTE

About the Role

Come and join our rapidly growing Customer Success Engineering team! As a Solutions Architect, you will help us ensure the success of Redpanda prospects and customers. This could range from running workshops with customers to getting them up and running on Redpanda products, and/or helping to architect a full end-to-end data streaming system with Redpanda as the core solution.  

You Will:

  • Spend time working with our products to build new partners or technology integrations, use cases, and automation capabilities
  • Be prolific in sharing content and best practices both internally and externally
  • Work alongside the Customer Success team to onboard Redpanda to our new customers and work with existing customers to drive their success and excellence
  • Lead product and solutions briefings, run architecture workshops, build proof-of-concepts (POC), run live product demos, and prototype Redpanda integrations
  • Partner with Redpanda product management, engineering, and support teams to solve customer challenges and improve customer experience
  • Identify and address customers' key technical objections and develop the strategies to address those blockers to Redpanda adoption

You Have:

  • 7+ years of prior experience leading presentations, collecting requirements, developing solution architectures, and teaching prospective users or project teams how to use software similar to Redpanda
  • Experience with creating blog content and/or documentation on the production and solutions
  • Outstanding consulting skills, able to rapidly switch between internal teams and customers, from code to whiteboard, from support to engineering
  • Comfortable developing/prototyping solutions in many different languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, and Javascript)
  • Experience working with distributed systems such as Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, Cassandra, etc.
  • Good understanding of security technology (TLS, SASL, Kerberos, OAuth, OIDC etc.)
  • Knowledge of different cloud vendors ( AWS, GCP and Azure)
  • Passion for working on complex technical problems and have a strong understanding of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies
  • Strong ability to build relationships with our partners, customers, and open-source users
  • Collaborative spirit and enjoy making sure each team gets customer feedback to provide great customer experience
  • Flexibility to travel to meet customers, attend events or conferences or wherever the work takes you 
  • Experience with Kubernetes a plus

 

U.S. base salary range for this role is $175,000 - $206,000, not including bonus and/or commission. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. As a remote-first company, we strive to consider each candidate's job-related skills, location, experience, relevant education or training to determine individual base salary. Your talent partner will share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
