The Job

As a Solutions Architect at Koombea, you will be at the forefront of adopting generative AI in the design, development, and migration of data applications. This is a hands-on technical role that involves deep collaboration with both our product/engineering team and our customers/partners. You will drive the maturation and adoption of Koombea’s redefined software design lifecycle among cloud data warehouse partners and customers

The Job

What You’ll Do

Identify and quantify customer business requirements across the product’s use cases.

Design and implement data architecture solutions using cloud data warehouses like Snowflake and Databricks.

Build and optimize automated data pipelines, ETL processes, and data models.

Ensure best practices in data architecture, security, and governance are followed.

Collaborate with customers to understand their requirements and tailor solutions accordingly.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in cloud platforms and AI technologies.

Architect and implement security, compliance, and data governance standards in all Koombea solutions.

What You'll Bring to the Team

5+ years of experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role, focusing on cloud data solutions.

Proficient in SQL, Python, and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud | Must have.

Hands-on experience with ETL processes, Machine Learning (ML), and Database migrations | Must have

Proven expertise in Snowflake, Databricks, and Redshift | Must have.

Exceptional problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills.

Certifications in relevant cloud platforms or data technologies | Nice to have.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.

English proficiency at C1 level.

Agile and Scrum Mentality: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
