Civitas Learning is looking for a Solutions Architect to play a pivotal role in collaborating closely with the Sales team to understand client technical needs. Using your technical expertise, this position develops engineering proposals, delivers technical presentations and conducts product demonstrations to showcase the Civitas product/service offerings. This role will act as a liaison between sales and engineering, ensuring alignment in delivering solutions that address customer challenges.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers while managing and interpreting their requirements.
- Coordinate appropriate internal product and technical resources for prospect calls and meetings
- Understand prospective client key business requirements, load client data, and design custom demo environments to help clients conceptualize their future Civitas experience
- Answer questions about our APIs, webhooks, and integrations for internal and external partners.
- Provide support to our current Loop Sales and Partner teams through various channels including Slack, in-person and virtual meetings, and shared documents.
- Support Account Executives in identifying prospects' needs.
Job Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in B2B pre-sales solutions engineering, or in a technical sales or technical consulting role.
- Comfortable developing and querying SQL databases
- Comfortable programming in, and debugging, at least one of: Python, Java, Javascript (or equivalent)
- Have developed solutions with public APIs (or even better, built one yourself!)
- Have built solutions with public cloud providers such as AWS or Azure
- Understanding of data pipelines and ETL
This role requires 25-30% travel.
