LastPass is looking for a Engineering Manager:
In this role, you will manage the team responsible for LastPass browser extension development, shaping the future of LastPass web clients. As an Engineering Manager, you'll lead initiatives to improve LastPass web application quality, oversee team performance, and prioritize tasks aligned with strategic goals. You'll proactively identify improvement opportunities, manage project delivery and technical risks, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders. Understanding customer needs and advocating for real customer value will be central to your responsibilities.
Who will you work with?
- A team of experienced engineers with diverse skills, spanning multiple time zones (United States, Portugal, Hungary), impacting the engineering organization
- Collaboration between engineering teams and leaders within and outside the organization for product and process enhancements
- Validation and communication of changes by subject matter experts and architects
- Alignment of product strategy with product leadership
- Ensuring smooth delivery by project leaders
- Active participation of members from engineering guilds and communities

It's great, but not required:
- Experience in software engineering, preferably with web or browser extension development
- Experience managing complex projects involving multiple teams
- Analytical mindset with experience in KPIs, OKRs, and leveraging data to drive decisions
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $152,000 in the lowest geographic market and up to $180,000 per year in our highest geographic market. In addition to the base pay, this position will have commission. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
