LastPass is looking for a Software Engineer (PHP):
You would completely own and continually improve critical features in the LastPass browser extension and web application to secure our customers digital life and work.

Who will you work with?
You'll work closely with agile teams responsible for developing and maintaining integration-related topics. Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers. Additionally, you'll engage with the support team to assess and evaluate incoming issues.
What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?
- Participate in requirement analysis, high-level planning, and estimation. Collaborate with product owners and user experience designers to deliver features while meeting team deadlines.
- Assist Product Management in managing costs and benefits. Avoid over-engineering without accruing unmanageable technical debt.
- Develop, test, and maintain solutions within your team's domain under the guidance of senior engineers. Address moderate challenges independently.
- Collaborate with other teams contributing to the product.
- Create and maintain internal technical documentation.
- Participate in code reviews.
What does it take to work at LastPass?
- Experience in developing web applications, particularly in PHP.
- Proficiency in web infrastructure, including HTTP and REST.
- Familiarity with object-oriented programming (OOP) best practices, SOLID principles, and Clean Code concepts.
- Experience with design patterns in PHP.
- Basic understanding of Docker and web security principles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Efficient participation in completing complex tasks.
- Consistent ability to understand the overall big picture situation while also focusing on details and specific tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively transfer knowledge.
It’s great, but not required:
- Previous experience with Commerce Systems and 3rd party payment providers
- Any experience with C# and .NET Core
- Solutions for ensuring security in PHP (against XSS, SQL Injection, etc.)
