Your role at Eye
Within Eye Security, we have access to a wealth of cyber security related data. As a Software Engineer in the Risk Intelligence team, you use Python and Golang to extract value from these extensive datasets. By connecting cyber security principles and best practices to this data, we help our clients to make informed and data-driven security investments and proactively protect themselves from cyber risks. We are looking for someone who likes to work in a fast-paced environment with a strong focus on innovation. Through your experience, you are able to involve others in your solution while building a robust platform. You have experience working with data. It is important that you are eager to learn, honest, proactive and a team player. At Eye security we work together on our mission to make Europe digitally secure.
What you will do
Code owner of core projects within our Intelligence Platform
Next to reviewing and owning code, you will also be contributing by writing code
Lead implementation projects such as improving our external scanning platform or the migration to our new data platform
Collaborating with our Platform team on the deployment of the code (through infrastructure as code, mainly focused around AWS lambda)
Guide and mentor junior team members and working students
What you will need
Advanced in Python and/or Golang; proficient in the other
Experience with microservice architecture & building microservices
Experience with Terraform or similar
Affinity with cybersecurity: all coding projects are focused around cybersecurity data
You have strong communication skills and like to take initiative; you like to mentor more junior team members
You speak English fluently and you are analytically strong
You are eager to learn and happy to work in a fast-paced environment and young team
It’s a bonus if you can demonstrate affinity with common aspects in the data field, like exploration/analysis/science/data engineering
