As a Software Engineer II, you'll be focused on the execution of your team’s work. You are responsible for delivery and use your responsibilities to grow your skills and build expertise in Articulate technology, processes and culture!
What you'll do:
Independently deliver well-scoped tasks under the loose guidance of an engineering manager or a senior engineer.Understand and adhere to the team’s engineering processes and practices.Identify and escalate risks and delays to the team as soon as they are encountered.Develop understanding of the team’s domain and how it fits into the larger product and company strategy.Collaborate with the team to ensure deliveries meet the bar in terms of quality, maintainability, testability, etc.Participate in the team’s on-call rotation by responding to and resolving incidents.
What you should have:
2-5 years of experience working as Software Engineer Strong C# skillsSolid understanding of async programming principles.NET framework memory management skillsAbility to communicate and synthesize requirements with non-technical stakeholdersAn unwavering growth mindset and strong understanding of your team’s technical stackThe ability to diagnose and analyze problems and clearly present solutions (or the problem itself when stuck)Curiosity and interest in learning new technologies, process, and skills
Nice to haves:
Windows desktop or native application development experienceWindows Presentation Foundation (WPF) or Windows Forms (WinForms) development experienceExperience with one or more modern UI frameworks (e.g. MAUI, WinUI, Xamarin.Forms, Avalonia, or similar)Experience modernizing large legacy code basesExperience with performance instrumentation and optimizationExperience with C# build systems and infrastructure
