As a Software Engineer II, you are responsible for building and shipping software using your analytic, pragmatism, and engineering skills to provide solutions adopted by Procore Engineering teams. If you have a passion for solving complex problems unique to running large, highly scalable, resilient systems, we would love for you to join us!
This position reports to Engineering Manager and will be based in our Cairo, Egypt office, We’re looking for someone to join us immediately.
What you’ll do:
- Consistently contribute code to technical projects within the team
- Write well-crafted, well-tested, readable, maintainable code
- Help onboard new engineers to the team
- Share your knowledge in the team’s tech talks
What we're looking for:
- 2+ years total experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong experience working on modern applications and frameworks with React, Typescript or Javascript and PostgreSQL/MySQL
- Knowledge of GIT, Restful APIs, and API integrations is a plus
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming languages
- Participated in multiple projects and focus areas throughout your career
- Experience working remotely and with distributed teams
- A curious mind that is driven to innovate and solve customer problems
- Fluent in spoken and written English
