Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, database administrators, and analysts, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
Provide technical guidance and support to clients, helping them navigate complex data challenges.
Conduct regular meetings and presentations to update clients on project progress and outcomes.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices in database and data engineering.
Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in database technologies and data engineering methodologies.
Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth within current engagements and with existing clients.
Develop strategies to expand business relationships and secure new projects outside of current engagements.
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote data engineering solutions and services to potential clients.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Engagement Manager or similar role, with a focus on database and data engineering.
Strong understanding of database management systems (DBMS) and data engineering principles.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Experience in SQL, NoSQL, and other database technologies.
Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration.
Understanding of various cloud platforms and data solutions, including Databricks, Snowflake, and other data solutions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proven track record of identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Experience in developing and executing business growth strategies.
