How you will make an impact:
As our second UX research hire, you'll have the opportunity to make a huge impact on both the product and the organization. Your efforts will drive product strategy and execution forward, informing our product delivery, company vision, and long-term roadmaps.
While you may execute research related to any stage of the product development lifecycle, your initial main focus will be on high impact, generative research projects to provide the strategic inputs our designers and product managers need to deliver the best possible experiences. You may also work across several product areas to start, but the longer-term goal is for you to develop deep product expertise in one to two areas and serve as an embedded researcher.
You'll also contribute to the development & management of budding research operations, thus empowering PMs & designers to more easily & effectively execute on their research needs; we expect your time will be split roughly 70/30 on research projects vs. ops support.
