Senior Technical Partner Manager - Americas

Join the Presales team at Camunda, leveraging your technical acumen and business insight to help our high-value partners, encompassing both alliances and channels, expand their operations by showcasing the extensive capabilities of Camunda's automation products. You'll be instrumental in empowering our top partners, providing them with the expertise needed and crafting technical assets and tailored solutions to meet their unique requirements. Your role involves equipping Partner technical sales teams to effectively present Camunda solutions in conjunction with partner offerings, thereby delivering enhanced value to mutual clients. Additionally, you'll engage with partners during customer transactions, advising on technical sales strategies.

Your deep comprehension of customer and partner needs, industry dynamics, and your exceptional ability to foster customer relationships at all levels will be key. You revel in addressing technical challenges in real-time and are comfortable assuming various roles – from solution architect to trusted technology advisor, to champion of Camunda!

*This is a remote role and can be based anywhere where we are eligible to hire, please find a list of available countries here. Please note that most of the prospects you’ll work with are based in the US and an overlap in time zones is required.

What you'll be doing:

  • Partner with Partner Managers to develop and execute go-to-market and annual partner plans, ensuring alignment with Camunda's vision and value proposition, while fostering strong relationships with partners, including C-suite executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive collaboration between product management, sales, and sales leadership to enhance sales engagements with partners.
  • Team with partners on technical sales efforts by understanding business objectives and technical needs of prospects, positioning business value, conducting presentations and demos, designing tailored Camunda solutions, and executing proof of concepts (POCs).
  • Assist partners in including Camunda within their Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies and initiatives, emphasizing how Camunda's offerings are not only complementary but also optimal for enhancing their customer success and boosting partner revenue. Create tailored value presentations that resonate with the partners' strategic objectives and showcase the benefits of implementing Camunda's solutions at scale.
  • Provide technical expertise throughout the sales cycle, work in cross-functional sales teams for a unified sales strategy, and relay client feedback to product management, engineering and marketing to drive product enhancements and market opportunities.

What you bring:

  • Ability and/or willingness to use our product.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical sales role.
  • Strong solution architecture skills and deep understanding of how software, cloud services, and enterprise systems work.  Knowledge of programming.  
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (native or C1/C2 proficiency).  You can convey complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner to a diverse audience, including those without a technical background.
  • A proven aptitude for critical thinking, innovative problem-solving, and tailoring software solutions to meet unique customer challenges and requirements. 

Nice to haves:

  • 5+ years of experience in partner technical sales
  • Experience in developing strategic roadmaps and collaborating with cross functional  teams.
  • Experience in enterprise automation, business process management, process orchestration, robotic process automation, or related fields.
  • Experience in Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance Industries 
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are an asset.
  • Comfort with state of the art technologies, in particular cloud technologies

What We Have to Offer:

Compensation

For external hires, we consider the skills and experience of the incoming candidate, but typically place candidates in the first half of the range to ensure ample room for growth over the entire lifecycle of the role.

Below is the annual Total Target Cash Compensation (Total Cash) range for Camundi located in one of our entities. Total Cash refers to base salary and 100% attainment of variable target, where applicable. Actual Total Cash offered will depend on factors such as skills and qualifications related to the role. To comprise the Total Rewards package, Camunda also offers equity (where applicable) in the form of a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan and benefits based on the country of residence. 

The annual Total Cash range for this position for Camundi in our entities is as follows: 

  • United States: $153,600.00 to $230,400.00
  • Germany: €102,200.00 to €153,300.00
  • United Kingdom: £99,600.00 to £149,300.00
  • Singapore: S$190,800.00 to S$286,200.00
