Mission Summary
As a Senior Security Engineer, Identity & Access Management (IAM), you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, integration, automation, and improvement of IAM at Motional. You will be part of Motional’s Enterprise Cybersecurity team and work to promote and apply Motional’s security policies, standards, and processes across the organization. You will work cross-functionally across the organization to ensure Identity and Application lifecycles are defined, automated, and adopted.
What You'll Be Doing
- Manage, maintain, and improve our IAM solutions and integrations (i.e. Okta, JumpCloud, Active Directory, Aquera)
- Provide IAM subject matter expertise for Motional cloud and on-premise technologies
- Work across the organization to further integrate Okta into Identity and Access lifecycles for all Motional applications including SSO integration, role assignment, deprovisioning, etc.
- Experience using Okta Workflows and API Access Management
- Build and expand cybersecurity program to promote and adopt IAM policies, standards, and processes across the organization
- Create and standardize user access lifecycle with HRIS (onboarding, offboarding, and department change)
- Define and automate processes to facilitate regular access reviews by Application Owners
- Act as an escalation point for IAM related issues for our HR and IT teams
- Experience planning, developing, and deploying solutions related to Identity Governance, Role-based Access Control, and Privileged Access Management
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of an IAM strategy, with a roadmap of key deliverables and timelines
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering disciplines or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5+ years of full-time experience administering, scaling, and troubleshooting in Okta
- Cybersecurity and/or Technology specific certifications (i.e. CISSP, CISM, Okta certifications)
- Ability to research and ascertain best-practices concepts relative to all aspects of both system environment and information security
- Ability to lead and influence security goals indirectly and provide clear direction for adoption of security principles
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work independently, problem solve, and bring attention to issues when needed
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines while simultaneously working on multiple projects
