Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)
Gorilla Logic is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join us in building out the capabilities and coverage necessary to ensure correct behavior in an evolving system, while providing a faster feedback loop for our client´s engineering teams.
Responsibilities
*Design, develop, and execute automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our software products.
*Implement end-to-end testing frameworks using tools such as Pytest and Locust, ensuring thorough coverage of critical workflows.
*Conduct load testing to assess system scalability and performance under various conditions, identifying and mitigating bottlenecks.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop test strategies aligned with business objectives.
*Enhance observability by implementing monitoring solutions using Grafana/Chronosphere and Prometheus, enabling proactive identification and resolution of issues.
*Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to stakeholders, driving continuous improvement in product quality and performance.
*Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Technical Requirements
*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
*Proven experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing methodologies.
*Experience with end-to-end testing frameworks like Pytest and load testing tools such as Locust.
*Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana/Chronosphere and Prometheus.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
*Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
*Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
