What we’re looking for:
As part of our expanding global proposal management initiative, we are actively seeking an experienced Senior RFx Specialist to enhance our team. We are in search of a dynamic proposal manager with a proven track record in organizing, formatting, and submitting solicitation responses within the US public sector (FED and SLED). In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team, technical writers, channel partners, product managers, and various subject matter experts across the organization to articulate compelling value-based narratives while also ensuring compliance with complex submission requirements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise to influence and propose enhancements to existing processes, optimizing them for bid success in the public sector. A strong familiarity with FAR/DFAR and state procurement processes is desired for success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end development of proposals, ensuring compliance with all requirements and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and create compelling responses that address customer needs
- Evaluate current public sector response processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop/implement strategic changes to increase bid progression rate/ win rates
- Stay informed about relevant industry trends, government regulations, and changes in the public sector landscape
- Contribute to maintenance of a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources fo facilitate high quality and accurate responses
- Lead and contribute to other departmental continuous improvement initiatives as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 4 to 6 years of experience in public sector RFx management
- Strong knowledge of industry best practices (e.g. Shipley and APMP) such as kickoffs, color reviews, compliance, win themes, schedule, resumes, past performances, etc.
- Ability to work to time constraints while maintaining a high level of attention to detail; prioritizing tasks and setting expectations accordingly, especially under pressure
- Strategic thinker with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into compelling proposals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal to effectively engage with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
- Must thrive on the excitement and challenge of being on a lean and busy team
- Experience with the content management and automation capabilities of RFP software like RFPIO, Loopio, or similar
- Experience with G-Suite and Microsoft Office

Compensation may be adjusted depending on work location.
