Senior QA Engineer - Cloud (Auto + Java/Python Coding)

Responsibilities

Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing all stages from requirements analysis to test planning, execution, defect tracking, through to product delivery and maintenance

Work closely with fellow software engineers, contributing insights and feedback on design optimisation and system implementation

Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases

Perform extensive testing, including Blackbox, Whitebox, and Automation on BE API and Web

Hands-on Manual investigation and root cause analysis of product issues

Identification of current test script deficiencies and candidates for additional scripted coverage

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant fields

Competence in designing, writing and executing comprehensive testing plans and test cases

Strong knowledge of Software QA Automation methodologies, Backend Testing, Automation frameworks and design processes

Solid knowledge of SQL. Solid Hands on coding / writing script capability is a must (Java preferred)

Experience in Functional testing for Web applications and BE APIs

Proficient in conducting root cause analysis to identify and address underlying issues impacting software quality

Enjoys breaking things and solving problems - not just able to find out the 'what', but also the 'why'

User Focus mindset, demonstrate good logical thinking and seamless team communication skill

Bonus: Prior knowledge in the Funding/Blockchain related domain
