Job Description
We're seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our passionate testing team. This role demands a deep understanding of testing methodologies and a drive to push the boundaries of software quality assurance. You'll be responsible for designing, automating, and executing advanced test strategies to ensure the flawless functionality and user experience of our software products.
Responsibilities
● Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other QA Engineers to translate requirements into comprehensive test plans.
● Design and develop test cases leveraging advanced testing techniques (e.g., equivalence partitioning, state transition testing, combinatorial testing).
● Craft robust test automation frameworks utilizing industry-leading tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress) to achieve high test coverage and efficiency.
● Champion exploratory testing to uncover unexpected behavior and edge cases.
● Leverage performance testing tools and techniques to identify and mitigate performance bottlenecks.
● Analyze test results, diagnose defects, and collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution.
● Advocate for best practices in black-box testing and contribute to the continuous improvement of the QA process.
● Stay current on emerging trends and technologies in the testing domain.
● Mentor and guide junior team members on black-box testing methodologies.
Qualifications
● 5+ years of experience as a QA Engineer with a proven track record of success in testing.
● In-depth understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, particularly Agile/Scrum.
● Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Javascript) and a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
● Mastery of test automation frameworks and experience with performance testing tools.
● Experience with API testing is a plus.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
