The Job

Your main goals will be: building application models and coding the logic behind the user-facing components and the database of web apps. You will be asked to focus on the performance, usability, accessibility, and adaptability of the apps.

The Job

What You’ll Do

Integrate user-facing and server-side components

Build reusable code and libraries for future use

Optimize app performance for speed and scalability

Implement security and data protection measures

Design and implement data storage solutions

Review, refactor, and maintain codebases

Deploy web apps to staging and production

What You'll Bring to the Team

College or university diploma related to computer science;  

+ 5 years of experience in Web development (OOP);

+ 3 years of experience in Python (ideally Pyramid);

Expertise in building and deploying Flask applications;

+ 2 years of experience in Web (HTML, CSS/SASS/LESS, JavaScript, Angular 8);

Considerable experience working with Linux and LAMP architecture 

Experience using RESTful/JSON API development;

Experience of development in Linux environment (Perl, Bash);

Experience of DevOps (AWS, Docker, Jenkins);

Experience in Server configuration is an asset: Web, DNS, DHCP, Memcached;  

Experience working on other Javascript frameworks is an asset: Meteor, React; 

Experience with Python and the following Python frameworks is an asset: falcon, pyramid; 

English Proficiency (C1): Good command of English.

Agile and Scrum Mentality: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Open-minded and flexible on mandate;
