The Roadmap Planning & Program Management team sits at the intersection of strategy and execution with the aim of planning and delivering the company’s priority products while providing executives the visibility and input they require to guide bi-annual releases.

You will join a team that drives key activities across several functions in the organization including design, engineering, product marketing, marketing, operations, and more. It is a highly leveraged role that aims to improve the quality and velocity of work across cross-functional teams by acting as a “force multiplier”. Your team will get things done by bringing clarity out of chaos, diving into the details, and communicating clearly and in a timely manner. They're good at building relationships, motivating others with vision, and persuading with data. Success in this role is defined by your ability to make an impact with your critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to zoom out and see the big picture, and influencing key stakeholders.
A Typical Day:
- Partners with product marketing, design, engineering, community support, and other cross functional teams to reliably deliver programs, and solid realistic plans with the highest quality and on schedule
- Understands dependencies across functions to optimize the overall system and deliver the highest quality offerings
- Strong written and verbal communicator that can simplify the complex
- Develop and manage centralized hubs for management of information in a timely and reliable manner
- In collaboration with other team members, operates at a variety of altitudes by tailoring communication style and approach via your strong collaboration skills
- Goes beyond status reporting to drive issues to resolution and escalates to leaders for guidance when necessary
- You make significant improvements to existing plans and processes to increase depth, efficiencies and other key improvements, including recognizing and managing dependencies and changes in a responsive and timely manner
- Understands best practices, drives improvements, and focuses on simplification
Your Expertise:
- Experience in program management, product management, or business operations managing sophisticated programs end to end in a creative-led fast paced environment
- Experience in consumer-facing businesses, technology, and design
- Product and/or technology experience including product management or engineering
- Demonstrated ability of shipping products at scale having overcome a variety of challenges
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can simplify complex topics
- Exceptional influencing and presentation skills that expand your influence beyond your team and across your org.
- Expertise in using program management tools such as Airtable, Asana, Jira, Smartsheets, etc.
- Thrives in ambiguity in a fast-paced, hyper-growth organization
- Up to 10% travel required
Your Location:
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant will need to be based in the San Francisco-Bay Area, CA to be able to conduct their work. Currently, employees can not be located in: Alaska, Indiana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Alabama, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Delaware And Rhode Island.
