Senior Product Manager, Platform

How you will make an impact:

As a Senior Product Manager, Platform at Iterable, as part of our product team, you will work very closely with company leaders on Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success. You will have ownership over broad product areas with a wide scope of responsibilities as our product continues to grow.  You will be expected to take products through the full lifecycle of discovery, collaborative design, and comprehensive go to market.

How you will make a difference:

  • Be an integral part of the Iterable Platform team which covers many aspects of user data, delivery, compliance, integrations, billing and more
  • Serve as a product lead for our multi-channel delivery and deliverability systems and processes
  • Contribute to the vision and design of a next generation marketing automation platform
  • Create and maintain customer relationships to develop a deep understanding of their needs
  • Serve as the internal “voice of the customer”
  • Create processes to capture, analyze, leverage and share customer insights
  • Work cross-functionally with the customer success, engineering, marketing and sales teams
  • Work with engineering to develop product roadmap and feature prioritization
  • Build use cases and define product requirements to roll out new features and enhancements
  • Provide ongoing documentation of customer demands and product functionality
  • Work with other platform and product owners to drive company-wide initiatives
  • Research industry trends to identify new product features and opportunities

We are looking for people who:

  • Possess knowledge of a multi-channel delivery platform, ISP-ESP relationships and delivery health, compliance and more
  • Have a technical background with platform and foundational aspects of SaaS, data-centric software
  • Use SCRUM tools to manage the product milestones and communicate priorities
  • Deep understanding of technical and data intensive products & APIs
  • Significant experience with user testing, data analysis, and multivariate testing
  • Highly analytical, hypothesis-driven, data-supported approach to problem solving
  • Strategic thinker that combines business acumen and technical know-how to drive decisions
  • Ability to identify and clearly communicate a product’s competitive advantage and positioning and able to take a product through the entire product lifecycle (discovery through market launch)
  • Proven ability to take initiative and use consultative skills to build strong customer relationships
  • Confident, coachable and enthusiastic team player who thrives in a competitive environment
  • Self-driven and able to work independently in a fast-moving company

Bonus Points

  • Deeper knowledge of email delivery processes and standards (ex: SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
  • Deeper experience with data ingestion, API data integration, and high-volume data movement aspects of a SaaS platform
  • Fluent understanding with the use of Quality Assurance processes
  • Hands-on experience using data analysis tools (e.g. SQL, Excel, Tableau) to deliver insights
  • Prior work experience with Software as a Service (SaaS) in a product leadership capacity including demonstrated, successful market launch of multiple products or initiatives

The US base salary range for this position at the start of employment is $129,500 - $200,000. Within this range, individual pay is determined by specific US work location, as well as additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, relevant education or training, and internal equity considerations.

Please note that the range listed above reflects only base salary. The total compensation package includes variable pay (where applicable), equity, plus a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and financial. In addition, we offer perks such as generous stipends for health & fitness and learning & development, among others.
