Senior Product Designer
Hyperproof is looking for a talented Senior Product Designer to join our team.
You are a smart, passionate, multi-talented Product Designer with strong user experience and user interface design skills and a desire to go deep in understanding your users. You love the challenge of simplifying highly technical problems in elegant ways that can make user interactions effortless and intuitive. You are at home in a fast-paced startup environment, comfortable solving problems with high levels of ambiguity, and are prepared to wear multiple hats as needed.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU TO DO:
- You will meet users to learn about their needs and test the usability of designs.
- You’ll work closely with product management to interpret data on user behaviors and incorporate conclusions into future designs.
- You’ll design experiences that solve complex workflows and interactions with elegance and simplicity—removing the extraneous, driving users to the next step, and shortening the path to “Wow!”.
- You’ll analyze user interfaces and experience problems and create design solutions that address user needs while meeting business requirements.
- You’ll produce process flows, storyboards, wireframes, and other artifacts required to develop and evolve the overall user experience.
- You’ll collaborate, present, and build consensus around designs with stakeholders in business and engineering teams.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- You're passionate about building and improving the tools that people use and interact with in their workday to remove drudgery and give them superpowers.
- You’ve proven your ability to build experiences for and understand complex problems.
- You’re confident in your quantitative and quantitative research and usability testing skills.
- You’re a UX designer who loves to learn, solve challenges, and enjoy challenging others and being challenged to look at problems from new perspectives.
- You’re a tireless advocate for the customer—enthusiastic about building and iterating on designs to discover what works best and applying your knowledge to create incredible software products.
- You understand how to collaborate within a team and across an organization to solve difficult product and customer problems together, fixing what's not quite right and smoothing the customer’s journey through the product.
- Able to facilitate the design expiration and discovery process, including whiteboard with product management, design and developers.
- You're fluent at communicating with product managers and developers as well as influencing your team to simplify, integrate and co-create successful customer experiences that work together.
- You have a BA in design, human-computer interaction, a related degree or equivalent UX / product design experience.
- You have 5+ years of experience in UX, with 3 years in SaaS products.

- For this interview, we expect to ask you to participate in 30 mins initial chat with recruiter, 45 mins chat with our hiring manager, then a 1-hour portfolio review followed by two 45-mins 1:1 with our product team members.
