About the role and why it’s unique:
- The Senior Manager of Promotional Strategy will oversee all promotional activities, ensuring that our campaigns are effective, engaging, and aligned with our strategic goals.
- Develop and implement comprehensive promotional strategies that align with company goals and drive customer engagement and retention.
- Analyze the effectiveness of current promotional campaigns and propose enhancements.
- Refine KPI approaches to understand promotional spend ROI, leading the data team to measure, track, and report promotional KPIs focused on retention and reactivation.
- Continually test and improve the customer journey, identifying key inflection points from acquisition.
- Ensure clear communication and organization of promotional campaigns across departments, including Marketing, Partnerships, Brand, Social, Product Operations, and Leadership.
- Stay informed on industry trends and strategies to continually innovate promotional tactics to ensure the best customer experience for our customers.
- Create an informed view of competitive promotional spend with accompanying insights and recommendations.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a management role overseeing a team and promotional spend in the gaming industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Experience with customer journey mapping and enhancing customer experiences through promotions.
- Proficiency in using marketing automation and CRM tools, particularly Optimove.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful promotional strategies.
- Deep understanding of the gambling industry and competitive landscape.
Even better if you have:
- In-depth knowledge of sports, culture, fantasy sports, and sports betting, with a focus on industry evolution since 2018.
- Expertise in leveraging emerging technologies, including AI and machine learning, to enhance promotional strategies and customer segmentation.
- Advanced data analytics skills, with proficiency in tools like SQL and Python.
- Proven experience in integrating promotional strategies into large-scale product roadmaps through project and product management.
Our target starting base salary range for this position is between $150,000 and $190,000, plus target equity. The starting base salary will depend on a number of factors including the candidate’s skills and experience, among other things.
