Senior Manager Print Services

The Partner Operations team (POps) is responsible for leading and developing our Partner Operations organization and establishing the vision and mission of the team. In this role, you will work with POps, Customer and Go-To-Market team members to focus on facilitating the estimating, onboarding and production of print production opportunities that do not have a current workflow within the Lob environment. 
You will be helping to build and maintain deep relationships within the print and postal industries and coordinate with all other aspects of our Operations -- Commercial Print Operations, postal logistics and operations, Process Improvement, Network Strategy and Supply Chain for customers who require services outside of the automated workflow. 

As the Senior Manager Print Services, you'll have a deep understanding of key industry players, supply chain best practices, and market trends. On a more tactical level, you’ll drive projects from inception to completion by leveraging rigorous print, mailing and operational management principles to derive and manage metrics like quality, speed, deliverability, and cost -- all in service of delivering a world-class experience for Lob’s customers.

As the Senior Manager Print Services, you’ll…

  • Work with Sales and Customer Team on projects that require special handling outside of our existing workflow. 
  • Work with clients  planning future projects by creating and evaluating schedules, obtaining quotes and defining production expectations.
  • Manage the onboarding process for new programs requiring additional resources beyond normal production.
  • Document project requirements via a written Statement of Work/RFP.
  • Review, mark-up and edit quotes to ensure accuracy to the level of effort required and engage solution team members
  • Process appropriate requirements of live projects and review details with Sales Representative and /or Customer Team Representatives.
  • Respond to questions and concerns from clients and Customer Team Representatives. Provide information and solutions.
  • Review production samples to ensure they meet customer expectations.
  • Engage with customers after project deployment to ensure customer satisfaction. 
  • Proactively find and implement new technology, systems and processes to reduce manual or ad hoc practices to improve process variance and streamline operations.
  • Suggest and work with team members to revise standard operating processes to improve delivery times. 
  • Set strategic goals and work with colleagues and the team to achieve those operational goals.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to build the next generation of technology to integrate Lob with new USPS and commercial printer offerings.
  • Conduct in-depth data analysis of print delivery network performance and develop deep understanding of value drivers to identify improvement areas and opportunities 
  •  Understand the financial/operational tools and reporting to ensure network performance meets business metrics and requirements 
  •  Effectively work in  Lob’s routing engine, softwares, data ingestion, and dashboards 
  • Communicate effectively across all levels (within the team, to cross-functional partners and leadership)
  • Develop a understanding of supply side partners and Lob technology

What will you bring to this role…

  • Print & mail operations experience: Have a Bachelor’s degree and/or at least 7-10+ years of relevant, operations-oriented work experience.
  • 7-10+ years of experience working directly with commercial printers, logistics companies and the USPS.
  • Experience working in high performing teams: You are an amazing team member with demonstrated success contributing in a high growth, mission driven, geographically diverse environment
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully execute large, complex initiatives in a rapidly scaling business

Compensation Information
The compensation structure of this position includes base salary + RSUs. 

US Band
$127,500.00 - $137,500.00


CA/NYC Band
$135,000.00 - $146,250.00
