The role:
The Sr. Manager, Brand Design will play an integral role as part of our Marketing organization by providing brand and creative guidance cross functionally throughout Newsela. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing Communications and Public Affairs, you will provide creative direction by ideating and creating marketing campaign creative wrappers. You will manage a team of 3 designers and their work across various disciplines, while also operating as a senior creative contributor when needed to create documents, illustrations, website designs, etc. You will work cross functionally partnering closely with Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Product Design.

- You have 8+ years of experience with at least 2 years managing a team
- You are able to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
- You have a strong eye for design and a robust design skill
- You have experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), Figma, and Google Suite
- You have experience with design operations planning
- Bonus if you have experience in the tech space or edtech space
Base compensation range: $115,000 - $125,000. Total compensation for this role also includes incentive stock options and benefits. This compensation range may be adjusted based on actual experience.
