Job Description:
The Senior Manager of Account Based Marketing (ABM) will be responsible for leading the ABM strategy across strategic 1:1 accounts for the Americas business. The Sr. Manager will be tasked with developing and executing deep year-long account based strategies leveraging account intelligence, intent and propensity signals across a predetermined list of accounts. This individual will be responsible for not only program strategy, build and execution, but also the thorough capture and analysis of key metrics aligned to the 3 R’s of ABM measurement.
Key Responsibilities:
ABM 1:1 Strategy:
- Develop and execute comprehensive strategies aligned to account needs and mapped back to our value proposition and account-level objectives. .
- In partnership with sales, define account objectives, target audiences, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.
- Identify the right marketing mix to achieve strategic account goals including digital, events, hyper-targeted campaigns, and more.
- Ensure alignment with field marketing and overall marketing efforts.
Market Presence & Positioning:
- Drive and enhance the company's market presence with key accounts through partnering with customer advocacy and comms, 1:1 campaign efforts, and account-specific in addition to the third-party and owned events.
- Establish and refine account-based positioning, value propositions, and brand visibility. Lead competitive analysis and account trend monitoring.
1:1 Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute account-based marketing campaigns in collaboration with sales teams and cross-functional marketing partners, aligned with core account objectives.
- Closely monitor performance and provide insights for optimization.
Content and Collateral:
- Oversee the creation of account-specific marketing content and collateral.
- Ensure that account specific content aligns with the overall brand message and values.
- Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality materials.
Budget Management:
- Manage the budget for 1:1 initiatives.
- Track and report on expenses related to account-based campaigns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 - 7 years of experience in Account Based Marketing
- Strong knowledge of ABM and overall field marketing strategies.
- Exceptional executive presence, strategic thinking, and communication - both written and oral.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with a wide variety of cross-functional teams.
- Strong project management and analytical skills.
- High proficiency in marketing technology and analytics tools; Marketo and Salesforce skills are required.
