We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Senior Legal Administrative Associate to join our growing team in Mexico City. This role is pivotal in supporting the legal team by building out the administrative function of our team through handling a wide range of administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations, contributing to the foundation of our operations team in Mexico, and supporting the growth of all of our other Samsara offices. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of legal administrative work, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with teams across different time zones, particularly across the US and EMEA.

In this role, you will:
- Support and help build out the administrative support function for the Mexico Legal team
- Manage team queues, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of inquiries, requests, and tasks
- Provide general support for the entire legal team (including US and EMEA), including, but not limited to, document coordination and preparation (filing, signing), redlining, and general correspondence
- Build new administrative workflows and process improvement across various team and cross-functional efforts
- Maintain and organize legal databases and systems
- Manage updates to contractual and policy templates and support related workflows
- Facilitate communication and collaboration between the Mexico legal team and counterparts in the US and EMEA offices
- Contribute to special projects and initiatives as needed, providing administrative and operational support

Minimum requirements for the role:
- 4+ years of administrative, operations and/or legal support experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English
- This position will be based in Mexico City and will be a hybrid role – the candidate will be expected to be in the office at least 3 days per week
- Ability to support US (EST/PST) business hours as needed
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy
- Demonstrated success in managing team inboxes/queues, coordinating tasks, and meeting deadlines within a dynamic work environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on team collaboration
- Discretion while handling confidential legal information
- Adaptability and a proactive mindset to navigate changing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
An ideal candidate also has:
- In-house, technology company, law firm, or notary public experience
- Legal management software experience (Zendesk, Ironclad, SimpleLegal, etc.)
- Knowledge of legal terminology, practices, and documentation in Mexico
