We are seeking a Senior IT Engineer to join Affirm's IT Engineering team.

What you’ll do
- Build, improve, and look after business-focused software, making sure it's up to standard and meets what the business needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to identify and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Document all processes and ensure that best practices in coding, testing, and maintenance are followed.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to business applications, including performance bottlenecks and system failures.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation within the company's application portfolio.
- Administer low code automation
- Administer line of business applications
- Leverage API’s for automation
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches and migrations to keep systems current and secure
- Conduct regular system analysis and performance tuning to enhance overall functionality of systems
What we look for
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and understanding of cloud architecture and services.
- Familiarity with line of business platforms (Slack, Office365, Google Workspace)
- Experience building Slack Bots
- Experience with automation using Bash, Python, or Powershell
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to design effective automation solutions for various scenarios
- Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to automation processes, ensuring minimal downtime
- Experience with system monitoring tools and practices
- Experience collaborating with end users to understand and address technical issues that can benefit from automation

Employees new to Affirm or promoted into a new role, typically begin in the min to mid range.
CAN base pay range per year:
Min: $105,300
Mid: $131,600
Max: $157,900
