The role:
As a Sr. HRIS Analyst, you will play an influential role in helping to develop our People technology and processes! You’ll be a trusted expert for all People-related technology, working to support the automation, integration, and configuration of not just our tools, but the service design and strategic enablement of our workflows and processes. You’ll reduce friction in our employee’s day-to-day through efficient, user-friendly work processes and collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve, test, and optimize our People technology and infrastructure.
This 100% remote position will report to the Sr. Mgr., People Technology & Operations.
Daily Adventures and Responsibilities:
- Manage the product vision and execution on all aspects of our People systems, primarily focused on our HRIS. This includes collaborating with our partners in IT Enterprise Applications and across G&A to roadmap and strategize the future of our tooling infrastructure, partnering with our Operations team to troubleshoot questions, defining and designing mature business process workflows for system and integration configuration, and leading testing and release
- Develop and lead the definition of user stories, PRD creation, backlog grooming and sprint planning, user and acceptance testing, and adoption monitoring
- Support our tooling reporting and dashboard enablement and manage user training and communications
- Serve as the functional People systems and data subject matter expert
- Drive the successful roll-out of regulatory changes, state and local requirements, and relevant periodic product releases
- Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements
- Actively participate in the selection, implementation, and integration of new People technology solutions supporting business growth and enablement of employee success
- Partner closely across People and with other functional business units to identify opportunities to automate processes and reduce manual work, drive improvements, deliver on key initiatives, and solve complex problems
- Consult with functional leaders to influence system maturation and portfolio management to ensure Apollo has systems that are best in class from the market, fitting it’s unique business challenges as we grow and scale
- Uphold the security and confidentiality of documents and data within the area of responsibility
Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of progressive experience defining, designing, and maintaining HRIS and other People systems, including system-driven reporting and dashboards
- Experience implementing and managing enterprise tools and integrations; Strong knowledge of the SDLC preferred
- Agile experience, preferably in the role of Scrum Master
- Demonstrated project management and consultative skills to effectively lead and collaborate across functions
- Understanding of HR fundamentals, employee lifecycle (from onboarding to offboarding), and change management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, exercise good judgment, and propose creative solutions
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
- Experience handling complex and confidential data from multiple sources
- Advanced Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets skills; experience with reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau) preferred
- Experience with middleware tools (e.g., Workato, Zapier, Tray.io) a plus
