As we expand our product portfolio and global presence, our Finance & Accounting department is seeking a Senior Accountant to be responsible for maintaining accurate GL records by preparing journal entries, month-end reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Responsible for meticulously identifying and resolving reconciling items promptly. The Senior Accountant also assists with internal ad-hoc reporting, contributing to overall financial operational efficiency.
In this role, you will:

- Month-end activities, recurring monthly journal entries in various GL areas, and the associated account reconciliations (including but not limited to payroll, vacation accruals, stock based comp, commissions, allocations, and consolidation).
- Assist with state and local tax accounting and filing.
- Assist with intercompany activity including quarterly transfer pricing calculations.
- Investigate monthly fluctuations and variances.
- Maintain and reconcile certain general ledger accounts monthly.
- Ideal candidate would have a good understanding of GAAP, fixed assets, prepaids, lease accounting, audit schedules, property tax, and sales & use tax.
- Streamline accounting practices and protocols for better efficiency.
- Cross functional support on ad hoc projects.
- Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes.
- All other duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the accounting profession.
- Willingness to learn and jump in to help for different projects.
- Team player who works well with others.
- Proactive in nature especially leading up to and during month-end close.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- NetSuite experience preferred.
Nozomi Networks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base pay scale for this position is $87K to $114K This is the range the company reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account factors including job-related knowledge, skillset, experience, education and training, certifications, and other relevant business factors.
