Senior Accounting Manager
What You Will Be Doing
- Oversee the maintenance and integrity of the general ledger, ensuring accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies.
- Monitor and analyse general ledger accounts to identify discrepancies, variances, and trends, and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Be a key player in the month-end and year-end closing processes, coordinating with various departments to ensure all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled promptly.
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments as needed.
- Perform regular reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, such as accruals, leases and fixed Assets to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Prepare lease accounting journal entries as per ASC842/IFRS16.
- Prepare and review financial statements, including income statement and balance sheet.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations, standards, and company policies.
- Coordinate with internal, external and SOX auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.
- Implement and streamline procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Supervise and mentor a couple of GL accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

- 10 Years experience
- CA Required
- Knowledge about India accounting preferred
